FAQ

What is KinkyTrain?

KinkyTrain is a sex-positive, awareness-based techno rave on a moving train through Southern Bavaria.

Is this a sexual event?

KinkyTrain is not only a sex party, but sex can happen, if it’s fully consensual. Consent is the foundation. You don’t have to participate in anything you don’t want to. No expectations, no pressure.

What does “kinky” mean in this context?

It means playfulness, creativity, curiosity, embodied freedom – not just BDSM or sex. It’s about expression, mood, gesture, texture, and style.

Is there a dresscode?

Yes. The dresscode is mandatory. Not to exclude, but to create a shared vibe. Think: kinky, bold, weird, sexy, magical, cinematic. No streetwear, please.

Who is this for?

For open-minded and kind people, FLINTA*, queer folks, BIPoC, neurodivergent people, and allies*. All genders and bodies welcome – as long as consent and respect come first.

What kind of music can I expect?

Primarily techno, trance, experimental grooves – curated for energy. No big-name headliners, just artists who move people.

Is it safe for neurodivergent folks or people with sensory sensitivities?

Yes. There are Chill Zones at both ends of the train: low-stimulation, no sexual interaction, soft lighting, quiet, blankets – accessible anytime.

How does consent work at KinkyTrain?

Consent is continuous, mutual, and active. Nothing is assumed. We offer visual cues, briefings, and an Awareness Team trained in care and support.

What if something goes wrong or I feel unsafe?

We have a dedicated Awareness Team and sensitised Security Crew on board. They are visible, approachable, trauma-informed, and always on your side.

Is the event accessible?

The train is planned to be low-barrier, with dedicated rest zones, flexible participation, and awareness around neurodivergence and physical access needs. The train is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

When and where does it happen?

First ride: Saturday 18.04.2026, boarding at 8 p.m. and departing at 9 p.m. from Munich / München Ostbahnhof. The train will be back at München Ostbahnhof around 3 a.m.

At what age can I participate?

Admission is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. Valid identification is required.

Are there toilets on the train?

Yes, there are sufficient toilets available.

Are drinks and food available on board?

Yes! All bars offer non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks as well as vegetarian/vegan snacks.

Can I pay by card?

Card payment is possible. However, problems can sometimes arise due to poor connection on the train. It is best to pay with cash.

What should I bear in mind?

Please do not throw any objects out of the window. Rubbish belongs in the bins provided for this purpose.
